Job Title: Project Officer Aged Care
We are seeking a dynamic Project Officer to lead the strategic initiatives of our organisation during a time of unprecedent change in the Aged Care Sector.
The successful person will oversee the daily operations, ensuring high-quality services are delivered for older people in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead daily operations and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements.
* Manage and support staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of accountability and integrity.
* Deliver new aged care and community projects, ensuring they meet client needs and funding obligations.
* Oversee CHSP grants including DEX monthly reporting and financial reports.
* Apply for funding and grant submissions as they become available.
* Provide strategic advice to the Board on sector reforms, risk management and organisational performance.
Requirements:
* Experience in the aged care sector, with a strong understanding of aged care reforms particularly CHSP.
* Demonstrated skills in operational leadership, project management and compliance reporting.
* Experience in financial management, including budgeting, acquittals and grant applications.
* Proven ability to work with and manage volunteers in a community setting.
* High-level communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
