About the Role A pivotal role supporting executive decision making through insightful analysis and leading the day to day operations of the finance function. Overseeing businesses in this large conglomerate - this role is a balance of hands on financial expertise with strategic oversight. Leading the monthly reporting cycle including P&L, client/project profitability, utilisation, and variance analysis Preparing forecasts, annual budgets, and financial models to guide resource planning and profitability Managing working capital, reviewing revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger integrity Overseeing tax and compliance obligations including BAS, IAS, and FBT, ensuring internal controls and SOX compliance Supporting contract reviews, payroll approvals, insurance management, and ad hoc reporting for leadership Managing and mentoring a small finance team, fostering cross-functional collaboration and professional development Please note this is a 12-month, fixed term contract. About You A commercially astute finance leader with a strong technical foundation, you will thrive in fast paced environments and love making continuous improvements to systems and to teams.
