Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Hervey Bay, QLD, with some flexibility for remote work. The Individual Support Health Trainer will deliver high-quality training to students pursuing qualifications in Individual Support, Aged Care, and related fields. Responsibilities include creating and delivering engaging lesson plans, providing constructive feedback, assessing student progress, and supporting learners in achieving competence while adhering to RTO compliance standards. The trainer will also develop and maintain strong industry partnerships to facilitate practical training opportunities and ensure alignment with workplace needs.
Qualifications
* Experience in providing training and assessment in Health, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Care sectors.
* Formal qualifications in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 Certificate IV or equivalent) and relevant healthcare-related certifications.
* Ability to create and adapt lesson plans and assessments tailored to individual learner needs and industry standards.
* Proficiency in using digital platforms for online or hybrid training delivery.
* Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to build relationships with students and employer partners.
* Understanding of RTO operations and compliance requirements within the Australian vocational education and training framework.
* Current First Aid certification and valid driver's license are desirable.
* Previous experience as an Individual Support worker or in a related healthcare role is a plus.
