**About the Organisation**:
Wilmar Sugar Australia is the nation's largest sugar producer and a major provider of renewable electricity and bioethanol. Our joint ventures, Sugar Australia and NZ Sugar, market a wide range of products under the familiar brands CSR and Chelsea.
The HR team support over 1,500 employees, which quickly increases to well over 2,000 employees during the sugar cane crushing period. With a "customer base" ranging from Ingham in North Queensland to Yarraville in Victoria, this role is based in Townsville.
**About the Role**:
An exciting Head of Recruitment appointment, supported by an Executive Leadership Team that celebrates creativity, encourages process refinements, and actively sponsors tech enablers. You will be guiding a talent team producing fantastic results in blue & white-collar workforce arenas and continuing to meet the evolving talent needs of this 2000+ national employee base.
Reporting to the GM, HR you will lead a team well equipped and ready to embrace a new vision and pursue innovative strategies to identify, attract and secure talent in the region. This new suite of initiatives will be complemented with process upgrades including the rollout of a new applicant engagement and management tool. This leader will also work closely with their team and hiring managers to hone new techniques and enable the latest AI and talent engagement tools.
**About you**:
An experienced Recruitment Leader, you will have carved a successful career in Recruitment or Talent Acquisition, ideally within a blue-collar setting, across a regional or national workforce, having enabled innovative attraction strategies across strategic and operational imperatives. This individual will possess experience in high volume recruitment complemented with outstanding leadership capabilities. An affinity with metrics, planning and budgeting control is a must, along with a strong interest in HR & digital technology solutions.
