About the Opportunity
We are seeking a high-performing Insurance Professional to join our team in Far North Queensland. As part of our highly successful insurance division, you will be responsible for managing an established portfolio and generating new business to achieve growth targets.
Your primary focus will be on protecting, maintaining, and growing relationships with clients while providing exceptional service. You will identify new business opportunities, negotiate with underwriting partners, and maintain an active sales pipeline.
This role requires strong organisational and time management skills, as well as sound general insurance technical ability. While insurance experience is preferable, it is not necessary.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of Rural, Agri, SME and Commercial clients
* Identify new business opportunities and drive growth
* Provide exceptional client service while building close working relationships
* Negotiate with our underwriting partners to achieve the best outcome for clients
* Maintain an active sales pipeline
About You
To succeed in this role, you should be a high performer who can demonstrate portfolio growth. You will also need to enjoy working as part of a team but also be able to work autonomously.
You will love that no two days are the same and that much of your time will be spent out with clients or prospective clients, and not in the office. You must have a sales-oriented approach and be able to build a sales pipeline to support new business growth.
