This is a critical role to support the annual growth plans of our ANZ region. You will be responsible for planning, building, executing, optimizing and reporting on field marketing activities as well as managing marketing discretionary budget for ANZ.
You will work closely with ANZ sales teams and align your approaches and marketing mix to the current sales & marketing plans. Both new logo acquisition and customer focused growth are key elements of your program.
Various components of the marketing mix are used relevant to each particular audience and budgets. They include large conference sponsorships, Verizon-hosted & third party virtual and face2face events and roundtables, contact acquisition campaigns to augment audience numbers and type, telemarketing lead generation / meeting setting campaigns.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with team members of the small but dynamic APAC marketing team.
- Build strong relationships with sales and sales managers.
- Communicate well with all stakeholders across the region and globally.
- Plan and execute field marketing programs & campaigns through various channels to drive brand awareness and demand generation across ANZ.
- Manage and report on a range of events run in ANZ: large sponsorship conferences, roundtables, briefings and virtual events.
- Leverage global content in campaigns and create content from time-to-time.
- Ensure that our brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns that are launched in-region.
- Ensure legal compliance processes are followed, with privacy, copy, event nomination and optin/spam rules are adhered to.
- Manage relevant agencies and internal stakeholders with clear briefs and timely communication.
- Manage campaigns to a budget and report on campaign contribution, effectiveness and ROI.
- Occasionally attend meetings out of business hours to allow for time zone differences in the global team.
**What we are looking for**
You are an enthusiastic and experienced team player who can contribute to marketing efforts to achieve results. An innovative thinker, posing new ways to reach and influence our audiences.
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Six or more years in a B2B Marketing function in a technology company.
- Experience in using SFDC for lead management and reporting.
- Willingness to travel outside of your state in Australia.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- A Master's in Business or Marketing
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communications skills
- Demonstrate track record of establishing relationships and credibility with leaders, and particularly with sales teams, across the business. Ongoing support and education of sales teams is key.
- Experience working cross-functionally within a cross borders team. It's ideal to possess a good understanding of working across multiple cultures.
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising integrated campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
- Track record of event coordination and management from small targeted virtual or face2face events to large industry conferences.
- Experience with ABM (Account Based Marketing) Programs.
- Experience with Nurture Programs.
**Where you'll be working**: In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
