THE POSITION - Chef
* Prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students
* Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
* Monitor stock and minimize wastage
* Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
* Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
THE PERSON - Chef
* Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
* Current Blue Card, or ability to obtain
* Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
* Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
* Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
* Basic baking and dessert making skills required
The Position - Catering Assistant
* Assist the kitchen to prepare and present food and beverages
* Provide friendly customer service
* Fast paced environment
* Operate the till to take orders and process transactions
* Collaborating effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations
* Adhering to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices.
The Person - Catering Assistant
* Experience with customer service and basic food handling experience is desired
* Some experience with coffee making is advantageous
* Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
* Have strong organisational skills
* Excels in high-pressure environments
* Thrives in collaborative, small-team settings
* Possesses hands on experience with POS systems
* Friendly, customer-oriented attitude
* Being flexible to handle diverse tasks, from food prep to cleaning based on the needs at that time.
* Has Responsible Service of Alcohol {RSA} or able to attain.
