Based out of our Yatala workshop, this role suits candidates from Brisbane or the Gold Coast who are open to travel across SEQ.
Responsibilities
* Carry out and monitor hoist motor performance, completing maintenance tasks to keep equipment running at its best.
* Stay on top of scheduled servicing to ensure all maintenance is completed on time and to standard.
* Lead and guide Hoist Mechanics and Trade Assistants, with a focus on building capability and delivering quality results.
* Assist the hoist rigging team on installations and dismantles as required, with training provided.
What we are looking for
* Trade-qualified electrician or electrical fitter/mechanic (or equivalent).
* Hold a High-Risk Work Licence – Class HP for personnel and materials hoists (ideal not essential).
* Completion of CPCCLHS3001 – Licence to Operate a Personnel and Materials Hoist (ideal not essential).
* Previous experience servicing or operating cranes and hoists is highly desirable; a mechanical/engineering trades background is acceptable.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and resilience.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
