Occupational Therapist at WA Country Health Service
Position Summary
This vacancy may be filled as a Casual, Permanent or Fixed Term appointment, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Position Profile
In collaboration with the Primary Health Manager and the Senior Occupational Therapist, this position plans, implements and evaluates Occupational Therapy services and relevant health promotion programs to the designated communities serviced by the Avon & Central Wheatbelt Primary Health Service.
The occupant of this position is required to demonstrate a positive commitment to modelling our organisational values, safety and quality improvement and the Code of Conduct in all aspects of their employment.
Compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, standards and legislation including Confidentiality and Work Health and Safety policies is mandatory.
Eligibility To Apply
Applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
Other Conditions
WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility.
Applicants must undertake criminal records screening, integrity checking, and possibly a working with children check and pre-employment health assessment.
WA Health policies also require a Working With Children Check.
All offers are conditional on a satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA).
The selection process may also fill other similar vacancies within the health service and remains valid for twelve (12) months.
