About the Role
We are seeking a skilled laboratory professional to perform testing on soil, water, and air samples in a dynamic laboratory environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sample preparation, equipment maintenance, and quality control processes.
Main Responsibilities:
* Weighing and preparation of samples
* Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment according to ISO 17025 standards
* Contributing to the laboratory's quality assurance systems
* Monitoring stock levels of consumables and reporting any discrepancies
Requirements:
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and record keeping
* Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency
