Following the recent award of a Federal Government institutional project within Canberra, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of one of the company’s most significant projects to date.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced construction professional to lead the delivery of a large-scale, technically complex project with significant stakeholder engagement and visibility.
Working closely with senior leadership, consultants, subcontractors and site teams, you will oversee project delivery from planning through to completion, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
This role is ideally suited to a motivated Project Manager looking to step into a high-profile project environment with long-term career growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all stages of project delivery from planning through to completion
* Oversee project budgets, forecasting, procurement and financial performance
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal delivery teams
* Monitor project progress, contractual obligations and reporting requirements
* Drive project outcomes in line with safety, quality and program expectations
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
* Lead project meetings, progress reporting and variation management
* Ensure effective project close-out and handover processes
About You
* Proven experience managing civil construction or infrastructure projects
* Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple project priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Sound understanding of project programming, cost control and contractual administration
* Strong commitment to safety, quality and team culture
* Engineering or construction qualifications highly regarded
Requirements
* Current Australian Driver’s Licence
* Construction Industry White Card
* Asbestos Awareness Training (preferred but not essential)
