About the role
You'll be responsible for leading production crews to deliver safe, efficient, and high-performing outcomes on site. This is a role for someone who can balance people leadership with operational delivery—keeping safety front of mind while driving productivity and team performance.
Day-to-day, you'll be:
* Overseeing and coordinating production activities to meet targets
* Leading pre-starts and reinforcing a strong safety-first culture
* Ensuring compliance with site safety, environmental, and statutory requirements
* Coaching and mentoring crew members to build capability and engagement
* Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Maintaining accurate production and operational reporting
About you
You're an experienced Supervisor in open-cut mining who knows how to get the best out of your team while maintaining high safety standards. You're adaptable, solutions-focused, and confident making decisions in a dynamic environment.
To be successful, you'll bring:
* Standard 11 and relevant Supervisor competencies (G1, G2, G8, G9)
* Proven experience leading crews in a production mining environment
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and site compliance requirements
* A genuine commitment to safety and continuous improvement
* Clear communication skills and the ability to influence and develop others
* Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office
