We're looking for a commercially astute Finance Manager to play a pivotal role within the Master Planned Communities (MPC) FP&A team, providing performance analysis and translating results into forward‐looking insights across Stockland's largest and most complex portfolio.
What You'll Do
This is a high‐visibility role at the centre of Stockland's Master Planned Communities business, supporting a multi‐billion‐dollar asset base and significant annual turnover.
In this role, you will:
* Translate financial results into clear, forward‐looking insights to inform executive decision‐making, investor reporting and market messaging
* Act as a key connector across Financial Control, Development Finance, Enterprise Finance and Investor Relations
* Consolidate complex financial information, challenge assumptions and generate actionable insights
* Oversee month‐end, half‐year and full‐year review cycles to ensure accurate, timely and reconciled reporting
* Prepare and review Investor Relations submissions, portfolio and capital partner reporting, and market‐facing Q&A
* Lead productivity, simplification and process‐improvement initiatives across reporting and analysis
* Proactively engage with finance leaders to identify opportunities, manage risks and highlight key performance drivers
* Support budgeting and forecasting, ensuring data integrity and appropriate accounting treatment
* Assess business opportunities to optimise profit and income while clearly communicating and mitigating risks
* Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and internal customers
* Mentor and develop one direct report, fostering capability and continuous improvement

Experience & Skills That Count
You will bring:
* Strong experience in FP&A, consolidation, performance analysis or commercial finance
* Exceptional analytical capability, including advanced financial modelling, planning and analysis
* Proven ability to explain performance drivers and translate results into clear, forward‐looking insights
* Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel (Power BI, SAP or similar systems highly regarded)
* Commercial judgement, with experience applying scenario and sensitivity analysis
* A continuous improvement mindset, with a passion for lifting reporting standards and simplifying processes
* Excellent communication skills, able to distil complex analysis for senior stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines
* Comfort operating in ambiguity with a proactive, solutions‐focused approach
* Experience thriving in fast‐paced, dynamic environments
* Relevant tertiary and post‐graduate qualifications in finance and/or accounting
