HammondCare Cardiff are currently looking for experienced Part‐time Registered Nurses to join our team. With our unique model of care that places the resident's needs as the number one priority, you will help create a home away from home for our residents. The care you provide will be person‐centred and relationship focused, recognising that every person is unique.
About The Role
This is a clinical support role carried out within a consultative and advisory context rather than an authoritarian approach. The role carries a level of professional accountability and responsibility in line with registration requirements as an RN with current AHPRA registration.
Essence Of The Role
As the RN you will be a core member of the residential team and work with both the management of the home and the care staff to provide tailored and individualised responsive care for the residents.
* Advising and supporting the care delivery by the care staff
* Educating and mentoring in clinical areas and processes
* Consultative in case management and clinical decision making
* Clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse
* Implement and support a resident comfort focus
* HammondCare uses LeeCare online reporting systems
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will
* Have current AHPRA registration with ideally 2‐3 years experience in an aged care setting
* Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts between Monday and Friday
* Value teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiative
* Have knowledge and experience of people living with dementia and their needs
* Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people and want to make a difference in their lives
* Possess strong administrative and computer skills
