About this Role
Our Accountants have their own portfolio of clients and deliver a range of services covering tax compliance, preparation of financial statements and business planning. You\'ll be managing relationships with both clients and external bodies, with guidance from an experienced senior leadership team.

The communication style at MWM is informal and at thesame time respectful. We want our clients to feel welcome when they visit,so we encourage our people to interact with our clients tomake them feel comfortable. In your role you will enjoy plenty of interaction both in person and on the phone.
We are seeking a person with great skills and a great outlook. As well as being an excellent communicator and skilled negotiator, you will have:
- A minimum of 5 years\' experience in a public practice environment
- CA/CPA/IPA qualification or working towards it.
- Ability to assess priorities and the drive to see them through to completion.
- Ability to take initiative, consider alternative solutions and act autonomously.
- A keen interest in delivering exceptional service to a wide range of clients.
- A team mentality and thrive in a collaborative workplace.
MWM is located in the tranquil atmosphere of Emerald Lakes, close to coffee shops, restaurants, and a bustling Thursday afternoon market in the village square. There\'s a lakeside boardwalk for lunchtime exercise, and a well-equipped gym. Our offices are modern and spacious, with expansive views of the Gold Coast.
You will receive an attractive remuneration package including:
- 5 weeks annual leave after 3 years of service
- Unlimited pre-approved personal and career development costs reimbursed
- $4,000 study allowance per year
- 2 days paid study/community service leave per year
- 1 day per fortnight work from home.

Relocation costs – We are happy to discuss your costs of relocating to the Gold Coast
Technology - We provide a full work from home setup that mirrors the office – standard is 2 screens plus laptop, with docking stations at both locations, wireless keyboard and mouse, headset.
We use VOIP telephony enabling softphone or mobile access at home.

Parking - Shared covered car par provided (depending on role)
