Health Information Services Administrative Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Health Information Services Administrative Coordinator.
About the Role
This pivotal role will provide high-level administrative support to enable the smooth and efficient operational functions of the Health Information Service. As the coordinator, you will serve as a key liaison between various stakeholders including clinical staff, IT, and external contract staff to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Providing systems administrative support to staff on the use of coding specific software such as the CodeFinder/Grouper and CodeFocus workflow manager.
* Undertaking testing of various software products as required by IT, the Clinical Coding Service, and the Submissions Team.
* Liaising with clinical staff on the completion of outstanding coding queries and related documentation.
* Participating in the development and delivery of clinical documentation improvement initiatives.
* Managing the rostering and leave planning of staff within the rostering system.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* A degree in Health Information Management or a Clinical Coding Certificate would be favorably regarded.
* Strong administrative and communicative skills.
