**Who are we looking for?**
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Research Data Librarian to join Library, Education Portfolio, Academic Division.
The Research Data Librarian leads the management of the Library's research data management services, including Research Data Finder, Data Management Planning Tool service, DOI minting service (of datasets and images), publishing of QUT's research datasets and training QUT's research community in research data management practices. The position takes the Library lead at the University's regular weekly Hacky Hour session and is the QUT representative with ARDC.

**What you need to succeed**
To thrive in this role, you will be someone who enjoys taking the initiative to provide excellent service and support across a broad range of activities each day.
You will demonstrate: 
1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree in a relevant field such as information management, librarianship or a relevant discipline with at least four years' subsequent relevant experience. 
2. Demonstrated knowledge of developments and advancements in the area of research data management, both internationally and nationally. 
3. Demonstrated knowledge of the use of metadata and information management systems, for example, digital repositories and other information management systems. 
4. Highly developed interpersonal communication (verbal and written) skills in order to establish positive working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. 
5. Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing and reporting of information, research or data management projects. 
6. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality training and support to qualified staff and researchers.
