Department
Alfred Health Support Services (AHSS) manages functions including Cleaning, Gardens and Grounds, Ancillary, Security, Ward Support, Food Services, Fleet Management, Car Parking, Waste, Linen Management.
Role Overview
The Security Manager will lead the Security Services Leadership Team and collaborate with other Support Services leaders to ensure effective security management across all sites, meeting industry standards including the Australian Standard – Security For Health Care Facilities AS4485. The role involves fostering team development and continuous improvement, driving service excellence with a skilled workforce. The Security Supervisor(s) report directly to this role.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Security Management or equivalent
Experience in Emergency Management, Critical Incident Response, Business Continuity, and Risk Management within healthcare
Understanding of Security Services operations and relevant qualifications
Leadership experience in healthcare services
Ability to implement organizational change
