Technical Lead Role
The primary objective of this position is to oversee the creation and implementation of innovative technical solutions that align with our client's strategic goals.
* Design, estimate, and develop technical enhancements to existing systems.
* Develop solution architectures based on business and functional requirements in collaboration with subject matter experts.
* Contribute expertise to requirements analysis to enhance the quality of solution design.
* Collaborate in the development of the Future State architecture and provide guidance on suitable technical solutions.
* Assess current systems architecture and work with technical staff to recommend suitable solutions for the Future State.
* Identify, communicate, and manage technical risks including performance, integration, and data integrity concerns.
* Keep stakeholders informed of any technical risks or limitations associated with proposed solutions.
* Ensure all solutions address security, privacy, testing, and compliance requirements in accordance with relevant standards and practices.
* Develop and communicate an actionable roadmap for approved solutions.
* Provide guidance and risk-based governance to support solution implementation including managing requests for changes and deviations from specifications.
* At least 5 years of experience in software engineering and architecture design.
* Proficiency in coding languages (Java and JavaScript would be ideal).
* Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.
* Excellent communication skills including written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.
* Previous project management experience is advantageous.
