About This Role Ongoing, full-time position based in the West Area - Grampians and Barwon! Promote rehabilitation through meaningful community work Salary Range $76,817 - $85,048 plus superannuation Community Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to community safety by applying practices that reduce reoffending and connecting offenders to programs, services, and the community. CCS manages offenders on court orders, serious sex offenders on post-sentence supervision, and prisoners on parole.
About The Role Your primary work location will be based in either Ballarat or Geelong, with travel across the West Area including Ballarat, Horsham, Geelong, and Warrnambool to support community work programs.
As a Community Work Officer, you will provide community work opportunities and contracts, enabling individuals to complete their community work hours and orders successfully. Responsibilities include monitoring attendance and compliance at community work placements, contracting individuals to local community work sites, and building relationships with Community Work Supervisors, community work partners, and other stakeholders. You will also produce reports, maintain documentation, and undertake risk assessments and occupational health and safety processes as required.
