**About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Officer to join our team. This role is positioned at our Gepps Cross Distribution Centre which services 80+ stores.

This role is for a Full-time position working 5 days per week including weekends

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To monitor and assess Fruit & Veg lines delivered to the distribution centre (DC)
- To validate the compliance with product quality and labelling specifications set by the Woolworths quality assurance team and Government Legislation
- Collaborate with the Commercial Buying Team to ensure we are delivering the best quality offer for store operations to enhance customer experience
- Reporting to Senior Quality Control Officer and working alongside the buying teams to deliver safe, quality products in line with Woolworth's specifications and company KPI's
- Bring to life flexibility and drive productivity

**About You
You're driven by a customer mission and passionate about being part of a tribe of great people.

You have experience in a similar role working in a highly regulated environment. It is important that you have high attention to detail and are able to follow processes.

There is some physical work so you need to be able to lift and move boxes.

**Ideally, you will also have**
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic MS Suite skills or google (Excel, Word)
- Ability to multitask & prioritise
- Ability to maintain composure in demanding situations
- Creates an environment where people share success

**Desirable**:

- Agronomy / Agriculture knowledge
- Firm understanding of supermarket retailing and commercial processes
- Farming or/and retail fruit & veg experience
- Post Harvest knowledge
