Your Role
As the Driver / Storeperson, you will collect donated goods and deliver stock to Vinnies shops to ensure they are well stocked and operational, generating revenue to support our community services and achieve the goals outlined in the St Vincent de Paul NSW’s Strategic Plan.
Your Responsibilities
* Complete pre-operational checklists for all loads.
* Report and follow up on damages to MVIs in accordance with SOPs.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with site stakeholders.
* Provide excellent service to customers (Vinnies shops & donors).
* Collect donations from the public.
You Will Need
* Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
* Empathy skills for working with donors and welfare clients.
* Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift goods safely.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work with a diverse workforce including employees and volunteers.
* NSW driver license and MR or HR (Heavy Rigid) license, and LF license.
