Skydive Australia has 14 drop zones across Australia providing people the ultimate thrill From the sands of Airlie Beach to the grapevines of the Yarra Valley, our locations are impossible to beat. Starting out with just one single-engine aircraft in ****, we have grown rapidly to be where we are today. Increasing heart rates and creating incredible exhilarating experiences is what we aim to do.
We are on the lookout for experienced Skydive Instructors for our drop zones across Australia.
About you
Our Skydive Instructors have to meet the following criteria:
You are a fully qualified and experienced Skydive Instructor with at least 2 years' experience, Minimum **** total jumps, Min 500 tandems & display pro license.
You are a good communicator, have fantastic customer service skills and are proficient in the English language.
You hold or have the ability to obtain - Australian Parachute Federation (APF) Tandem Master, APF E Licence with Display Pro endorsement, APF Parachute Licence, APF Instructor D Licence (or in the process of obtaining) and are Sigma endorsed.
You have a solid understanding of Skydiving emergency procedures & relevant Australian Parachute Federation policies and procedures.
Additional responsibilities
Additional responsibilities will include:
Execute all skydiving activities as required by the APF rules, regulations, and publications and in line with gear manufacturer's manuals and procedures.
Work together with Drop zone staff to deliver exceptional customer service
Proactively seek information and updates on all relevant APF documents, such as Operational Regulations, Regulatory Schedules, and others.
Regularly monitor and service all personal skydiving gear including helmet, altimeter, camera, and PFD etc' ensuring compliance.
Perform relevant Gear Inspections, including the 100-jump check as required by the Chief Instructor
Participate in promoting team culture, safety and OHS protocols and proactively communicate concerns or improvements regarding yourself, other team members, customers, or equipment.
Film tandem skydives to capture the amazing experience for each tandem skydive
Responsible for other skydive related tasks, such as Parachute packing, GCA and other tasks as required from time to time at the DZ.
Parachute packing and general duties as assigned at the Drop Zone.
