Good Directions Good Directions is an established registered NDIS Service Provider set up to allow participants to develop and maintain 100% person centred supports. Our goal is for participants to own and manage more of their personal resources.
We do this through a 'shared management' approach that empowers people to live their lives in a way that they choose, with the right support. Purpose of the Position Ensure our service delivery is effective and compliant. This involves representing
Good Directions – including to government agencies, NDIS, clients and other industry entities – on behalf of designated participants. Responsibilities Support Operations Managers to
set up and provide participants with disabilities 100% personal choice & control
Manage participant Health Support Plans and seek changes in funding for supports
Ensure safe, consistent, thoughtful Nursing Supervision of supports
Mitigate service delivery risks and raise material risks to management's attention
Enable clinical tasks to be performed appropriately via Nursing Delegations of Care
Increase
Good Directions ability to take on new clients e.g. by developing relationships with hospital discharge departments
Engage providers to develop and coordinate targeted training and competency assessments for support staff
Respond to participant and regulators – e.g. management of enquiries, incidents reporting
Lead Good Directions nursing support service, providing substantive nursing leadership as a trusted advisor by:
Managing changes through analysis, recommendation, and execution to:
Continuously improve policies and procedures to comply with regulatory standards
Provide thought leadership and constructive challenge to improve our practices
e.g. training for service delivery, medication records, assessing the service delivery quality
Proactively ensure that information is ready for quality assurance audits
Enhance national training processes and guidance for health-related tasks and nursing supports
Travelling to participants, nurses and staff around Australia as required (9am-5pm Mon-Fri)
Providing updates to the COO on training programs, clinical projects & workforce development initiatives.
Employee benefits Remuneration will be $120,000 plus $8,000 home office & travel allowance. Other benefits: $2,000 training courses budget, professional fees reimbursed, birthday leave. About you
Technical: AHPRA Nursing Registration, Workplace training / Cert IV, Acute Care nursing, understanding of NDIS clinical/health related high intensity framework
