Overview:

The Role:
You'll work across application development, AI enablement, integrations and API design. This role suits an engineer who enjoys owning features end-to-end, learning new technologies and contributing ideas that shape the product roadmap.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop and maintain product features using PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript and MySQL
* Build and integrate AI solutions using LLMs, vector databases and RAG patterns
* Develop secure, standards-based APIs and third-party integrations
* Contribute to discussions around architecture, scalability and performance
* Troubleshoot, debug and optimise applications for reliability and scale
* Participate in code reviews and champion clean, maintainable code
* Collaborate closely with product, design and QA to deliver high-quality features
* Document technical decisions to support knowledge sharing and compliance
Skills & Experience:
* Experience with PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript and MySQL
* Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, Bedrock, OpenSearch) and Linux
* Background in SaaS development, APIs and system integrations an advantage
* Exposure to AI/ML concepts such as LLMs, vector databases and RAG (highly desirable)
* Bonus: Experience with SharePoint, document management systems, SOLR, or Elasticsearch
* Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, curious mindset
