LUXURY RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE GREAT DANE | HÄSTENS
Location: Great Dane Fitzroy & Hästens Collins St
Reports to: Retail Showroom Manager / Brand Manager
Salary range: $80,000 + Hästens sales commission structure
ABOUT THE ROLE
This full-time Sales Consultant role is uniquely positioned across two premium showrooms — Great Dane Fitzroy and Hästens Collins St. You will represent two globally renowned brands, offering exceptional client experiences and driving sales through product knowledge, service excellence, and relationship building.
You'll be part of a dynamic team of retail professionals, working with iconic Scandinavian furniture and luxury sleep products. This role is ideal for someone passionate about design, with a proven ability to deliver results in a high-end retail environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Client Engagement
· Generate sales across all areas of the retail business through service excellence
· Lead generation and pipeline management
· Respond to and optimise client enquiries
· Identify and capitalise on sales opportunities
· Manage client appointments (in-store, in-home, and virtual)
· Build and maintain strong client relationships
· Achieve sales budgets and KPIs across both brands
· Manage all aspects of the sales process from enquiry to delivery and post-sale support
· Process payments and deposits accurately
Product Knowledge & Support
· Maintain high levels of product knowledge across both the Great Dane and Hästens ranges
· Stay informed on industry trends and brand developments
· Manage product support issues efficiently
Showroom Operations
· Support visual merchandising standards
· Maintain showroom presentation and back-of-house housekeeping
· Ensure company procedures and work practices are followed
· Assist with in-store events and brand activations
Skills & Experience
· Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in a luxury retail or service environment
· Strong work ethic and passion for delivering exceptional client experiences
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Professional, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
· Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
· Experience working with KPIs and driving sales performance
· Excellent grooming and personal presentation
· Availability for weekend work is essential (ideal roster: Saturday–Wednesday)
