Job Opportunity: Postdoctoral Researcher
About the Project
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team in studying the relationship between chromatin packaging and transcriptional regulation during development and disease in mammalian cells using single cell technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, conduct, and analyze experiments supporting research projects, ensuring methodological consistency and adherence to timelines.
2. Stay current with relevant literature to support experiment design and report development for presentations and seminars.
3. Contribute to writing and publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals, maintaining high academic standards and showcasing scientific leadership.
4. Promote collaborative research within our institution and with external labs by exchanging ideas and implementing experiments.
Requirements
* PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Genomics with strong bioinformatics skills.
* Experience working with single cell or low cell number experimental and/or clinical samples.
* Familiarity with open-source DNA-seq, Bisulfite-seq, ChIP-seq, and RNA-seq analysis pipelines, and public databases (e.g., TCGA, UCSC Genome Browser, Ensembl).
Preferred Qualifications
* Basic statistics knowledge.
* Experience in mammalian cell culture and NGS library preparation for DNA and RNA analysis.
