Heavy Vehicle Repair Specialist
* This position involves conducting routine maintenance and repairs on heavy military vehicles.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining Light, Medium, and Heavy vehicles.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct Maintenance tasks, including technical inspection and classification.
* Repair or replace worn or faulty parts by removing assemblies such as engines, transmissions, and differentials.
* Reassemble, test, clean, and adjust repaired or replaced parts.
* Carry out minor body repairs and minor trim repairs.
* Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, ignition, and electronic fuel injection.
* Inspect vehicles and issue road worthiness certificates.
About You
Requirements:
* Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent level.
* Open to Light Vehicle Mechanics with demonstrated Heavy vehicle experience.
* Demonstrated experience to inspect, repair, and maintain Light, Medium, and Heavy vehicles.
* Must possess a current Australian State or Territory class C Driver's License.
* You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
