Social Media Strategist
We're seeking a creative and strategic storyteller to lead our social media presence, engaging with vibrant Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of social media strategy – driving engagement, awareness, and community-building across platforms.
* Development of dynamic multimedia content (video, text, graphics) showcasing the student experience, events, and research impact.
* Trend monitoring and performance metric analysis, informing data-led recommendations for optimised content and reach.
* Management of the content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent messaging.
* Collaboration with stakeholders across Marketing, Alumni, Student Services, and more – aligning content to broader initiatives like Open Day and major campaigns.
* Support for paid social campaigns, leveraging experience in advertising and targeting to amplify key initiatives.
* Championing brand voice and tone, ensuring inclusive, engaging, and on-brand content.
As a socially savvy digital native, you'll have experience leading social media presence for youth-facing brands or institutions. Managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments requires effective time management, attention to detail, and creativity in storytelling.
This entry-level position offers a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in-office and 2 days working from home. The initial contract term is 6 months, with potential extension or conversion to a permanent role.
