Felons is currently recruiting for a Pizza Chef to join the team who values quality, sustainability and collaboration. We offer homely, wholesome and uncomplicated dishes with locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality.
Key responsibilities include:
* Contribute to the construction and costing of menus with new culinary creations
* Assisting the Executive Chef and Head Chef with the overall operation of the kitchen
* Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation
* Manage the maintenance and ordering stocks and supplies
* Manage food costs in line with the budget, along with labour costs
* Maintain consistent food standards and cleaning/hygiene routines
* Lead the kitchen team to ensure efficient and productive delivery of quality foods
What we are looking for:
* Proven experienceusing a woodfire oven and hand stretching dough
* Ability to produce pizzas in an efficient and consistent manner
* Demonstrated culinary flair and genuine passion for the industry
* Experience in a fast-paced venue
* Effectively leading, training and mentoring your team
