Tantula Rise is a 120-bed residential aged care home located in Alexandra Headland on the Sunshine Coast. Start date January 2026.
About The Opportunity
Working closely with the Lifestyle team, assisting the lifestyle team in organising and delivering activities and providing driving services for our Residents to a range of local areas.
Your day will involve driving the bus, helping residents of differing abilities on and off the bus, ensuring proper record keeping and logs for the bus, and cleaning the bus as required. We are looking for someone who is a good problem solver, who uses initiative, and demonstrates good presentation and customer service at all times.
About You
* Experience driving a bus is essential
* Strong passion for working with the elderly
* Experience in aged care or community work
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
Compliance
* Provide a current Driver licence
* Record of driving history – obtained via QLD Government Transport
* Be able to pass a pre‑employment physical examination and medical history check
* Provide evidence of Australian Work Rights (passport/birth certificate)
* Willing to apply for a national police check
