About the role: The position is responsible for the coordination and supervision of minor new works, repairs and maintenance to all buildings within the Gladstone Health Service. The Maintenance Coordinator is to manage, direct and coordinate the building trade/contractors and ground maintenance resources to provide a reliable and effective planning and maintenance service to all clients within the Health Service. About you: * While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded. * Demonstrate the ability to rapidly acquire sound knowledge of relevant public sector maintenance management legislation, systems, policies, procedures and practices as well as the proven ability to work within similar frameworks. * Ability to develop and utilise a maintenance planning framework that facilitates effective and efficient maintenance management. * Ability to maintain maintenance management and asset management databases to enable informed asset planning and management of asset resources.
