Remuneration: $38.51 - $45.00 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging

About the Role

This position will see you working as part of the experienced and supportive team at Moree Community Health Service as a Speech Pathologist. Providing a high‑quality clinical service, you will ensure optimal health outcomes for all clients and their families/carers.

About the Service

The Speech Pathology team services the Moree and Warialda acute, community and aged care services and provides outreach school programs to Moree, Toomelah and Mungindi. With a high Indigenous population, the department has established strong working relationships with community partners such as Kiah Preschool, the local Aboriginal preschool in Moree, and schools in the Aboriginal communities of Toomelah and Boggabilla. In recognition of their collaborative approach and innovative service delivery, the department have previously been a finalist at the NSW Health Aboriginal Health Awards, and in 2020 they were awarded the 'Commitment to Aboriginal Health' award at the HNELHD Allied Health Awards.


About You

You are an evidence‑based, client and family‑centred speech pathologist who is motivated, organised and receptive. You have fantastic communication and time management skills and the ability to provide culturally appropriate services within our community. You're excited about the opportunities that rural living offers and have professional development and improved quality of life at the forefront of your mind.


Requirements

* Must hold a bachelor or postgraduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
