Systems Analyst (Lendfast Support)

About The Role
Serving as the main point of contact for our in-house loan application processors, you will be required to analyse and troubleshoot user enquires for system performance or technical assistance in person, via phone, chat or email. Within this role, you will be required to analyse system performance, gather business requirements and respond to user requests via our in-house communication channels. Based on the information provided to you, you will research and determine the best solution using the various information resources available to you.
Task & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Support & Troubleshooting
* Analyse and resolve user enquiries promptly, managing support desk tasks through to completion.
* Diagnose and resolve system, software, and configuration issues.
* System & Process Optimisation
* Evaluate user processes against system performance and business requirements.
* Investigate and recommend system modifications or configuration changes to enhance efficiency.
* Business Analysis & Documentation
* Document business requirements, workflows, and functional specifications for system improvements.
* Assist with planning and executing UAT, regression testing, and deployment programs.
* Subject Matter Expertise
* Act as the central reference point for all Lendfast system support queries.
* Provide expert guidance and mentoring to team members as required.
* Technical Tasks
* Assist with database/SQL management, system restarts, and new release testing/sign-off.
* Monitor and configure user access controls, ensuring compliance and security.
* Continuous Improvement
* Identify software limitations and propose solutions for future development.
* Collaborate with vendors to design and configure application features that meet business needs.
* Project Support
* Contribute to project coordination, change management initiatives, and process improvement strategies.
* Documentation & Reporting
* Maintain accurate technical documentation and log all issues and resolutions.
* Collect and share user feedback with relevant teams.
Qualifications & Experience
We're looking for someone who is customer-focused, calm under pressure, and detail-driven. You'll also need:
* Sound IT technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
* Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a technical support or help desk role.
* A degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* Working knowledge of home loan and consumer lending processes in a financial environment.
* Experience with SQL, database management, XML, cloud technologies, and security requirements.
* Familiarity with tools such as Manage Engine and Jira.
* Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and online software products.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
