We are seeking a passionate and strategic Business Development Manager to join our team and lead the origination and development of high-value relationships that drive funding and support for paediatric healthcare. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a bold vision for children's health in WA, working alongside a dynamic and purpose-driven team. As we embark on the development of Sandcastles, Western Australia's first children's hospice, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to shaping a transformative project that will redefine paediatric palliative care in our state.
About The Role
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, securing and stewarding mission-aligned philanthropic relationships that generate sustainable revenue for the Foundation. You will lead innovative fundraising initiatives, develop compelling proposals, and maintain a proactive pipeline of prospective donors.
Working closely with the Fundraising and Marketing teams, you'll help design and deliver campaigns, events, and appeals that inspire support and deepen engagement. You'll also represent the Foundation at key events and contribute to strategic planning that enhances fundraising effectiveness and reach.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead business development efforts to identify and secure new philanthropic partnerships.
* Develop and implement engagement plans for philanthropic stakeholders including high-net worth individuals, family offices, trusts and foundations.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership opportunities with Foundation priorities.
* Represent the Foundation at networking events, presentations, and stakeholder meetings.
* Manage relationship pipelines and reporting to ensure accountability, transparency and impact.
This is a permanent full-time role, although part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
