This fixed-term part-time coordinator- or specialist-level digital professional will undertake a variety of tasks across TSOs eDMs, social media, website, campaigns, and traffic management during the duration of TSOs upcoming website redesign project, acting as a reliable resource to keep the ‘day to day’ running during this time.We are open to different models and can see a variety of arrangements working well, from undertaking the role as an in-house employee through to managing it as a freelancer (including from interstate).Duties and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a digital marketing professional who can be briefed and then proactively manage any combination of the below during this period:Use Airtable to manage tasks, including acting as the Airtable ‘linchpin’ in the team for workflow (making updates, allocating tasks after meetings within the system, etc)Work with the Digital Manager to maintain balanced channel schedules (eDM, social, etc)eDM creation, sending, and any follow through tasks (in WordFly; multiple eDMs per week)and support targeted audience building with the CRM & Marketing CoordinatorSocial media content planning, creation (with access to photos, the orchestra and live concerts, and Figma design templates), scheduling and reporting.Undertake live social media coverage at select events (occasional, based on availability)Attend and participate in key team and campaign meetings (usually weekly)Champion the Digital Strategy and our audience segments in your workOther digital-related tasks that fit within your skills, expertise, and workload capacityWhat this could look like…We are open to different models. We can see the following arrangements working well:You are an emerging digital marketing professional looking for part-time work as an employee, working 2.5 days per week in TSO’s office in Nipaluna / Hobart.If you need to balance this with study or other work, TSO will be as flexible as possible.You are a digital marketing freelancer, located anywhere in Australia, looking to add TSO as a client to your existing suite of clients, and can devote approx. 2.5 days per week of time to TSO. We are open to a retainer-style model.You run a digital agency and have an employee who could devote approx. 2.5 days per week of time to TSO work, undertaken from your existing office – in this case, TSO would essentially provide a fee to the employing agency for provision of this employee to work on the TSO account.The ultimate rate and hours per week will depend on the working model: as a guide, TSO has budgeted for a rate of $40 per hour, for 2.5 days per week as an employee, plus superannuation.We are open to different proposals regarding how the time, rate, and engagement model could be best utilised for mutual benefit. Pitch us something!Selection CriteriaPrior experience in digital and / or social marketing – you are familiar and comfortable working with email marketing, social media, and web contentOrganised and accountable – you can understand and adhere to digital campaign schedulesAdaptable - you can navigate peaks and troughs of activity with focus and positivity (for example, our season launch time will be very busy, whereas it will be quieter over the festive season break) as well as the occasional need to pivot on a deadline or campaignDetail-focused – you possess solid skills in proofreading and ensuring high quality workDriven by continuous improvement – you possess the ability to look at a campaign or piece of content you worked on; identify and communicate whether it was successful or not (and why!); and adjust things in the futureCurious and collaborative – you have the ability and willingness to learn new systems or processes to undertake your TSO work, and to do your part within a busy team structureAvailability – you foresee being available for the full 12-month contractArts interest - familiarity/enjoyment of classical music and/or the arts desired but not essential!How to applyIf you would like to apply for this role, first please read the full Info Pack on our website.
