About The Singleton Health Centre
The Singleton Health Centre is located at the Singleton Military Area, approximately 1 hour north‐west of Newcastle. This Army base is where infantry soldiers complete their initial employment training. The health centre provides primary medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours are Monday – Friday 0730‐1530.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments, medical administration, and managing patients in a low‐dependency ward setting.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physiotherapists, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals.
* Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care.
Qualifications
* Unrestricted AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
* Minimum two years Enrolled Nursing experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting.
* Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance).
* Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient‐centred care.
Additional security requirements: comprehensive probity assessment including National Police Check and AGSVA baseline security clearance.
