**What You'll Do**:
As a Security Area Manager, you will be responsible for the following critical tasks within your designated area:
- Lead and manage security teams across designated locations, ensuring consistent and effective security measures.
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard client assets and personnel.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and enhance security strategies.
- Work collaboratively with clients to implement their specific security needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Train and mentor security personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed to address security incidents.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on security operations, incidents, and improvements.
- Step into a relief security officer role when required, demonstrating your adaptability and leadership.
**Role Requirements**:
To excel in this role, we are seeking the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- ** Valid** - QLD unarmed Security Licence (with crowd controller), First Aid and Driver's Licence (required).
- Relevant certifications in security management or related fields such as Cert IV in Training & Assessment, Security Risk Management, or Frontline Management are highly desirable (preferred).
- A minimum of 2 years' proven experience as a Security Manager or in a similar leadership role within the security industry (preferred).
- Must be available to work Tuesday-Saturday Roster (required).
- Strong understanding of security protocols, risk management, and incident response.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and external agencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products and managing company systems.
- Impeccable personal presentation and grooming.
- Proficiency in time management and forward planning.
