About the Role
Position: Gardener within the Maintenance department. The part-time role involves regular and scheduled maintenance, repair works, new capital and equipment projects, and upkeep of gardens and lawns both inside and outside GSHS buildings on all sites, including hospitals at Korumburra and Leongatha.
About You
The successful applicant will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check and must be self-motivated. A current Victorian Driver's license is required, with the ability to work independently and liaise with other staff and local trade contractors to complete routine gardening work to the required standard.
Physical capability for regular, constant manual labour, lifting, and operation of machinery is important. Basic computer skills are desirable, as are good customer relations skills. Ability to operate machinery safely and flexibility in required tasks is essential. Participation in annual training and performance appraisal is mandatory within GSHS. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. A current satisfactory police check is required.
