Job Title: Home Care Assistant
About the Role
We are seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants. As a Home Care Assistant, you will deliver individualized care and assistance to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Monitoring and communicating client condition
* Transportation
* House cleaning
* Personal hygiene
* Meal preparation
* Health and wellness related activities
As a Home Care Assistant, you will demonstrate a commitment to best practice care and ensure that all in-home care is provided in a personalized, caring, and respectful manner.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A genuine passion for delivering exceptional aged care services
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Respect for all individuals, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and computer skills
* A flexible approach to meeting the needs of clients and colleagues
* Confident use of electronic communication and applications
* CPR and First Aid certification
* A Certificate III in Ageing, Individual Support, or similar qualification
* A full driver's license and suitable transportation
* Ability to provide client transportation
* Availability to work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts
* Possibility to work later shifts (until 8:00 p.m.)
