About the role
Join Australia's most recognised real estate brand at Harcourts Evolution as a Property Manager.
You'll play a pivotal role connecting landlords and tenants, managing property portfolios and working in a truly dynamic office environment.
Key responsibilities
· Working with a PM and Virtual PA supporting a growing portfolio of 200+ properties
· Marketing of available properties for lease
· Process new leases including tenant checks and references
· Liaise with landlords, tenants and contractors
· Maintain accurate communication records
· Maintain up-to-date lease details
· Ensure maintenance is completed in a timely manner and records kept up-to-date
· Coordinate inspections and reporting of routines, ingoing and outgoing
· Manage arrears processes and attend tenancy tribunal matters if required
· Maintain extremely high service standards
· Manage all financial tasks including daily receipting and weekly owner/creditor disbursements
· Support all other financial areas
Skills, qualifications; experience
· Current Certificate of Registration and/or Licence
· Current driver's licence (vehicle available for use during working hours)
· Tech-savvy using property management systems
· Proven experience in property management (2 years preferred)
· Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio efficiently and build strong client relationships
· Strong administration skills, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills
· Proven mediation experience and knowledge of tenancy tribunal processes
· Experience with PropertyMe preferred but not essential
· Proactive, punctual, reliable, team-oriented, with a positive attitude and sense of humour
· Knowledge of relevant legislation including: Residential Tenancies Act Strata Titles legislation Property, Stock and Business Agents Act Anti-Discrimination Act Trade Practices and Fair-Trading Legislation
