Description
We are seeking a maintenance professional to oversee the condition and presentation of two of our hotels: Veriu Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne (110 apartments) and Punthill Williamstown (42 studio, one‐ and two‐bedroom apartments). This dual‐property role requires independence, ownership mindset, and a passion for maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Undertake general maintenance in common areas and rooms.
* Complete repairs and upgrades to apartments, equipment, and common area hardware.
* Assist in troubleshooting electrical equipment such as TVs and air conditioners.
* Respond quickly to emergencies and maintain inventory of equipment and tools.
* Manage on‐site contractors, ensure compliance and conduct inductions, upkeep service agreements, and perform building audits for compliance.
* Work independently with an ownership mindset while collaborating with the team.
* Assist in managing building defects.
