Specialising in fabrication and machining, our client offers a wide range of services and have an excellent reputation within the industry. Due to an increased workload additional support is now required.
Your new role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for a variety of workshop and onsite tasks, working across a broad range of industrial equipment. The role includes diagnostics, fault finding, repairs and maintenance. Applicants with strong manual machining or CNC machining skills will have the opportunity to utilise and further develop these skills within the workshop, operating a range of machinery.
What you'll need to succeed
* Trade Qualification - Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical
* Previous experience in a commercial or industrial environment
* Excellent mechanical expertise and knowledge
* Strong manual machining experience.
* Self motivation
* Initiative and high attention to detail
* The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Initiative & reliability
* Strong safety focus.
