The Opportunity…
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for:
* Working alongside the kitchen team across outlets and events
* Leading and training all kitchen colleagues on menu execution, techniques, ALLSafe and HACCP
* Ordering stock and maintaining par levels
* Assisting in menu planning, implementation and execution
* Controlling food and wage costs, ensuring they come in on budget
* Assisting in special event planning and execution eg: BBQs, Christmas, New Years functions
* Assisting in changing menus for the benefit of regular return guests
* Menu costing experience
Qualifications
About you…
Qualifications and Experience:
* You have a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
* Experience in all section preferable, including banquets, buffet and al la carte
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with great attention to detail
* Vibrant personality, professional and always well-presented
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work within a team environment
* Must hold Australian work rights, we are not offering sponsorship
