The Student Growth & Engagement Division, within the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Growth and Global) portfolio, leads the University of Wollongong's work in engaging prospective students and strengthening pathways into higher education. The Division delivers a broad suite of outreach, recruitment and engagement initiatives across UOW's Wollongong, metropolitan, regional and offshore campuses. Through strong partnerships with schools, communities, Faculties, industry and external organisations, the Division supports UOW's commitment to providing inclusive, world class learning experiences and delivering meaningful benefit to the diverse communities it serves.
The Future Students Events Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of a portfolio of flagship events designed to engage prospective students and showcase UOW's courses, campus experience and career pathways. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Events and Outreach, the role leads the conceptualisation, project management and execution of major events including Open Day, Discovery Days, Early Admission conversion activities, expos and information evenings. The position plays a key role in enhancing UOW's event offering through consultation with internal and external stakeholders, developing industry partnerships and sponsorships, ensuring effective budget and risk management, and supervising event staff. The Future Students Events Manager contributes to a high quality, future focused events program that strengthens UOW's reputation and supports informed decision making for prospective students and their influencers.
