Family Wellbeing Services South Team Leader
Position Overview
This role will effectively coordinate a team of multi-disciplinary family wellbeing staff across funded regions and manage the delivery of responsive community-embedded family supports for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
About the Role
The successful candidate will lead the implementation of staff supports that maintain adherence to program models, human service practice frameworks, and enhance staff role clarity with a focus on client quality and impact.
Duties:
1. Lead the implementation of operational processes and non-negotiable tasks.
2. Use ATSICHS automated data systems to track, monitor, and improve services provided to young people and families.
3. Implement quality improvement measures in conjunction with Program Manager and Operations Manager.
4. Manage intake and triaging amongst programs with guidance from Program Manager.
5. Assist in leading a productive single team culture with support from Program Manager.
6. Foster relationships with all staff internally and externally.

* Permanent full-time position.
* Starting annual salary of $99,000 (depending on qualifications and experience).
* 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging.

* Immunisation history showing two doses of Covid-19 vaccine is encouraged.
Requirements
1. Current bachelor's degree in social work or related field with 4 years' relevant experience in family support, child protection, youth support, or related field.
2. Current Diploma in Community Services or related field with 5 years' relevant experience in family support, child protection, youth support, or related field.
3. At least 3 years of case management experience.
* Demonstrated ability to build client agency and self-efficacy.
* Ability to provide behaviour change interventions.
* Knowledge of factors contributing to vulnerability and intergenerational trauma.
* Experience with high-risk clients and crisis planning.
* Knowledge of available supports for mental health, substance misuse, education, employment, and housing.
Additional Requirements
* Travel across Logan and/or Brisbane region as per program location.
* Flexibility to work outside business hours to meet client needs.
* Working with Children's Card or eligibility to apply.
* Valid Police Check.
