Data Centre Sales Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Centre Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and managing existing client relationships.
Main Responsibilities:
* Sell data centre solutions to clients and identify qualified leads with the Client Management team.
* Develop and manage your own pipeline of opportunities within your assigned client base.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to ensure seamless integration of our solutions into their operations.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing accounts, driving expansion and renewals, and resolving any issues that may arise.
* Lead business conversations at the C-level to strengthen client relationships and demonstrate the value we bring to their business.
Key Requirements:
* A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and financial targets.
* Extensive experience in sales, particularly in the technology or services sector, with a focus on IT Managed Services.
* Proven ability to sell solutions-based products and achieve significant sales growth.
* Strong knowledge of competitors and effective application of competing sales strategies.
* Attention to detail in maintaining accurate sales forecasts and close plans.
* Experience in developing and nurturing meaningful customer relationships up to the C-level, particularly with CFOs and CTOs.
* Ability to deliver engaging sales presentations and proficiency in a team selling approach.
* Strong negotiation skills to craft mutually beneficial solutions for customers, partners, and our organisation.
* A client-centric mindset, with the ability to understand customer needs and find suitable solutions.
* Flexibility to adapt quickly to new priorities or urgent deadlines.
* A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Industry/Vendor sales certifications.
