Responsibilities
* Learn and assist in maintaining and repairing tools, dies, jigs fixtures and other precision parts and equipment.
* Participate in scheduled preventative maintenance services.
* Operating precision machinery, building and maintaining custom tooling (jigs, dies, and moulds)
* Contribute to maintaining a respectful workplace for all employees.
* Undertake any other duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as directed.
* Contribute to ensuring all equipment is safe to use and stored correctly.
Skills And Experience
* Willingness to undertake an apprenticeship in Engineering (Toolmaking) – no prior experience required.
* Strong math/problem-solving skills, Mechanical aptitude.
* Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity for precision work.
* Eagerness to learn and contribute to the maintenance of tools and machinery equipment
* Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
* Strong commitment to safety.
