About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established laboratory that has been operating for 20 years and has built a reputation for high quality craftsmanship and service to its clients.
Situated on the Gold Coast, we offer a full service dental laboratory consisting of Acrylic and Crown and Bridge departments, as well as an onsite Dental Prosthetist.
We are looking for a technician with a minimum of 5 years experience, preferably with management experience, although this isn't essential.
As the manager of the department, you would be required to communicate with clients, assist our existing technicians with technical questions and concerns, and be able to work with our administration to allocate work to the team.
This is a role where you would be hands on, and still required to act as a technician to complete laboratory work in conjunction with managing.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the acrylic department, which is a mix of traditional and CADCAM based restorations.
* Communicating with clients and assisting existing technicians with technical questions and concerns.
* Working with our administration to allocate work to the team.
* Acting as a technician to complete laboratory work.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
* A minimum of 5 years experience as a dental technician.
* Preferably with management experience, although this isn't essential.
