We are partnering with a major tier 1 client who is seeking a talented Senior Android Engineer on a 6 month contract.
As a Senior Android Engineer, you will be part of the Tech Squad to execute on exciting new programs.
You will get an opportunity to work on cutting edge technology and play a pivotal role in driving advancement in the leading engineering practices.
You will build and coach others to develop and automate the testing of robust, adaptable code that is always production ready.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a passionate Senior Android Engineer to join the mobile development team.
In this role you will design, develop, test, and deliver robust and secure banking applications.
Work alongside the full lifecycle of Android software engineering from idea to working production.
Take ownership of the SDLC – planning, analysing, designing, implementing, testing, deploying and maintaining.
Write code that is easy to read, highly maintainable, and written with automated testing in mind.
Leverage the best TDD/BDD practices to deliver working software.
What you will need to be successful:
5+ years experience as an Android Developer.
Strong JAVA and KOTLIN knowledge.
Solid experience with Android Studio and SDK.
HTTP web services integration.
Good OOP concepts and design patterns understanding.
Experience using modern libraries.
Unit testing design and implementation.
